Privacy Policy

FiadoLabs ("we," "us," or "our") operates the SIOPS mobile application (the "Service"). SIOPS is a high-impact site and server monitoring tool designed to help developers, DevOps engineers, system administrators, and business owners maintain infrastructure uptime.

Your privacy and data security are our highest priorities. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and services.

  1. Information We Collect

To provide our monitoring and alert services effectively, we collect the following categories of data:

A. Account & Billing Information

Personal Data: Name and email address provided during account registration.

Payment Data: Transaction details, subscription status, and billing information. All payment processing is handled securely by our third-party provider, Razorpay. We do not store your raw credit card or bank details on our servers.

B. Monitoring & Infrastructure Data

Endpoints: URLs, IP addresses, and port numbers of the sites and servers you configure SIOPS to monitor.

Authentication Credentials: API keys, tokens, or custom headers required to monitor secure endpoints. All authentication credentials are strictly encrypted at rest.

Ping & Performance Logs: Numerical data and logs regarding server response times, status codes, and downtime incidents.

C. Device & Technical Data

Push Notification Tokens: To deliver real-time critical alarms, we generate and collect Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device tokens unique to your device

Device Characteristics: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers necessary to optimize application performance and stability.

D. Analytics & Usage Data

Information on how you interact with the app (e.g., features accessed, navigation paths) and automated crash reports.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your data strictly to fulfill our service commitments and enhance your user experience:

To monitor your configured sites and evaluate server uptime.

To route and transmit instant Critical Alerts and notifications via FCM to your device when an outage is detected.

To process subscription renewals and manage accounts via Razorpay.

To diagnose application bugs, performance bottlenecks, and unexpected crashes.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

We believe in strict data minimization. Your data is retained only as long as necessary to provide our services:

Ping History Logs: All server uptime metrics, latency data, and error logs are automatically and permanently deleted after 30 days.

Account & Configuration Data: Encrypted endpoint details and credentials are saved for as long as your account remains active.

Data Deletion: You can request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated configuration data at any time by contacting us at support@siops.app.

4. Security of Your Data

We employ industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures to shield your data from unauthorized access or disclosure:

Encryption at Rest: All sensitive server authentication credentials and passwords are encrypted using strong encryption algorithms prior to storage.

Encryption in Transit: All communication between the SIOPS mobile app, our servers, and your endpoints utilizes Secure Sockets Layer (SSL/TLS) encryption.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties. We selectively share baseline technical data with trusted third-party sub-processors to ensure app functionality:

Push Notifications: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to manage and deliver push alert payloads.

Payment Processing: Razorpay to process security-vetted subscription transactions.

Analytics & Crash Reporting: PostHog, Firebase Analytics, and Google Analytics to monitor application health, track user engagement trends, and debug system errors.

6. Permissions & Critical Alerts

To function as intended, SIOPS requires explicit permission to send you notifications.

Critical Alerts Request: SIOPS utilizes Apple's Critical Alerts entitlement. If explicitly approved by you, this permission allows the app to play loud audible alarms for critical infrastructure failures even if your iPhone is muted or set to "Do Not Disturb."

User Control: This setting is completely optional and entirely controlled by the user. You can revoke notification and Critical Alert permissions at any time through your iOS device system settings or directly inside the app configuration menu.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or operational requirements. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date above.
